Usernames [Email addresses not permitted]
We do not allow usernames as email addresses, if you have chosen a username using your email address it will be changed to the characters before the @ symbol, you can also change your username at anytime by sending a private message to the Administrator.
Girls on The Move Tasmania Rules and Guidelines
These Rules and Guidelines outline what we expect of this community, and what the members of this community should expect of each other. Our aim is to build a community that people feel comfortable participating in, a place where you can exchange ideas and have spirited discussions, while treating others with respect and being treated with respect. The Rules and Guidelines apply to all forums. Any additional forum-specific guidelines will be posted in a sticky topic at the top of that forum. The administrators reserve the right to modify existing rules and/or add additional rules as they see fit. The administrators and Moderators have the final say as to what is or is not acceptable behavior, and what is or is not appropriate content. Please note that although these Rules and Guidelines are written primarily for the forums, you should assume that they apply to any other areas of the site where content is posted.
Disruptive Behaviour
The moderators and administrators reserve the right to take action against a member who is disrupting the normal flow of the forum. This includes violations listed in the other rules, but may also include inciting trouble, provoking reactions, generally attempting to disrupt the spirit of the forum and other behavior not yet foreseen. Since this rule is fairly general, we will attempt to correct the problem by warning the violator (via PM, email, or posting in the topic) and giving him/her a chance to explain his/her behavior. We will take further action only if proven necessary.
Images
Images are to be linked to posts as no attachments are allowed to try and keep the speed up on the forum, you can use sites such as photo bucket to store the images and then link them back to your posts.

Maximum of 10 smilies per post.
Profile
You agree to place your location and name in your profile, registration or profile change will not be allowed unless the Location and name is completed, this field is used so members are aware of your location when replying to threads or posts that have a geographical reference. Additional rules will be added as we find the time, we trust that everyone knows the general behavior that is acceptable. Simply keep it nice!

We allow all avatars including animated gif's, width: 180 pixels, height: 180 pixels, file size: 195.31 KiB size.

You are not permitted to place business avatars of other motorcycle forums or businesses within your signature unless approved by the staff of Girls On The Move (Tasmania Branch).
Signature
After you have registered, you may set your signature. This is a piece of text that you would like to be inserted at the end of all your posts, a little like having headed note paper.
The administrator has enabled signatures, so you will have the option to include your signature on any posts you make. If you have specified a signature, then the forum will automatically append your signature to any messages you post. You can disable signatures on a per-post basis by un-ticking the 'Show Signature' checkbox when you compose your message.
You may turn the signature on and off on posts you have already made by editing the post and altering the state of the 'Show Signature' option.
You can set your signature by editing your profile.

You are not permitted to place links to other motorcycle forums or businesses within your signature unless approved by the staff of Girls On The Move (Tasmania Branch). Forum Partners and advertisers are permitted to place links without restriction.
